Welcome to *** Dubravka Apartment, 50m2 big, 80 metres away from the sea, situated on the marvellous southern coast of the island of Vis, in a small place called RUKAVAC, 10 kilometres away from the ferry-boat port and the town of Vis. This quiet holiday resort can boast with the crystal clear sea, beautiful beaches and off shore islets. A most attractive small holiday resort situated on the southern coast of the island of Vis was once a fishermen’s village. Its name derives from a long, sleeve like bay. The place was built up on a beautiful peninsula, surrounded by numerous coves, cliffs, sandy and pebbly beaches, solitary rocks and the crystal clear sea. One of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic, the SREBRENA BEACH is located in Rukavac. There are two marvellous green islands just off its bay – Ravnik and Budikovac. Ravnik is the island famous for its Green Cave easily accessible by all kinds of small boats from Rukavac. In the ceiling of the cave there is a big hole allowing sunrays to penetrate into the cave at high noon creating special light effects in all shades of silver and green colours. Tourists may go on organized tours by motor boats along the southern coast, visit picturesque small villages in the interior of the island with specific restaurants serving delicious domestic food and always fresh fish or go to the beautiful towns of Vis and Komiza. In the vicinity of Komiza there is the island of Bisevo with its world famous Blue Cave. Daily excursions to this outstanding cave are organized from Komiza and Rukavac. The apartment that occupies the upper floor of a new house, surrounded by greenery, olive and lemon trees and flowers, has two spacious bedrooms with large French windows opening to the terrace 16m2 big, with the sea-view. On the opposite side of the apartment there is another terrace 9m2 big; both terraces are in the shadow of green vines. There is a vine clad parking place at one side of the house and a barbecue in the garden. There is a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and toilet and an extra toilet. In spacious bedrooms there are comfortable double beds, in one bedroom there is also a single bed and in the other a sofa and a TV set. In the vicinity of the house there are several beautiful beaches. The SREBRENA BEACH (The Silver Beach), one of the most beautiful beaches of the Adriatic is at a distance of 6 minutes walk from our house. There will be no problem with communication with your hospitable hosts because they can speak fluently English, Italian, German, French and Russian languages. Apartment is for rent only in season.
